‘Lets Talk:’ is going to be a new series on my blog. The plan is to do a Lets Talk Section every 2 weeks covering an array of topics. Whether or not I’ll keep up with this is another matter (ha) but I have a few ideas that should keep the ball rolling. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed planning it!
I’m going to start with having a catch up and some plans I’ve got coming up in the next few weeks. I’ve been slightly absent on the posting side of the blog but I’ve been planning lots behind the scenes. You can expect a few exciting collaborations coming up and some new content, hence the Lets Talk segment! The next few weeks for me are going to be hella crazy. I’m the kinda person who loves having things planned which I can look forward to so having a full calendar ahead is very much a dream come true. As I work full time, things are planned around weekends so making the most of them is crucial. Let’s take a look at what I’ve got coming up:
Friday 23 – Monday 27th March: London
It’s my best friend’s 21st birthday on Thursday and so I’m going up to spend a long weekend with her to celebrate. I love going to London because I find it such a fascinating place. I’m certainly a city girl at heart but I currently live in the middle of nowhere so it’s a refreshing change when I visit the capital. Whilst I’m there, I’m also going to be shooting some content for a sponsored post – how exciting!
Friday 30th March: Lowdham Dinner Dance
I’ve spoken about me joining Young Farmers recently in my posts and this is what they like to do best. Get dressed up and drink until their heart’s content. It’s a yes from me. I’ve made some lovely friends in YF already and dinner dance’s are always a lot of fun. I’m not sure I’ll be thanking myself for it on Saturday morning though, thank the lord it’s Easter and I’m not at work!
Wednesday 4th April: Job Interview
I wasn’t sure whether or not to include this one but It’s on that hasn’t left my mind since I applied. I’m not going to go in to too much detail about where I’ve applied to but I’ll keep you updated if I pass this assessment day! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know I currently work for my dad and I love my job so this was a hard decision to make.
As much as I love what I do and working with my dad, it’s not something I see myself doing in 10 years time. There’s also going to be a time where my dad isn’t running the business anymore and it’s something I wouldn’t be doing if my dad isn’t there. Both my parent’s have been incredibly supportive (I would never have made this crazy, out of character decision without their help, love and support) so hopefully the day goes well.
Saturday 28th April: The Vamps
Back to London I go! Regardless of the fact I have seen The Vamps live 25+ times (and met them twice just to throw that out there) I am so bloody excited to get back in the arena with my boys. It’s been a while since we’ve seen them and I’m so overdue a night with my bestie singing my heart out to my fav songs. Is there anything better than that feeling?
Tuesday 1st May: The Vamps round 2
It’s completely normal for me to go to the same tour more than once (hence why I’ve seen the boys so many times). This date is in Nottingham and I bought more tickets for my little sister to join me as one of her Christmas presents. I’ve obviously taught her well as she has a great taste in music..ha! I got us ‘Brad Pit’ tickets where in the middle of the arena Brad comes out and performs certain songs right in front of the Brad Pit so I think my sister will really enjoy it!
Friday 4th – Monday 7th May – AGM
I know, a pretty busy week I’ve got here right! Another set of plans with the young farmers but this time it’s not just the local ones. YF from all over the country are going to be meeting up in Blackpool for a long weekend of partying. I’m sure I’ll be sharing with you a few of the crazy antics we get up to!
Do you have anything exciting coming up soon?
